JAKARTA - Golden Globes 2023 berharap untuk kembali lagi dengan pembawa acara Jerrod Carmichael, dan mungkin beberapa pemenang yang akan disetujui oleh industri dan penonton.
Saat musim penghargaan film memasuki fase kedua, dengan pemungutan suara nominasi Academy Awards akan dibuka pada Kamis (12/1 2023), Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) memiliki kesempatan untuk menciptakan pengaruh dengan para pemenangnya.
Komedi Irlandia Searchlight Pictures "The Banshees of Iniherin" memimpin dengan delapan nominasi, diikuti oleh A24 "Everything Everywhere All at Once" dengan enam nominasi.
Pertarungan dalam film terbaik (komedi atau musikal) akan menjadi salah satu yang terpanas malam itu.
Di sisi drama, itu bisa menjadi pilihan kotak centang yang mudah untuk "The Fabelmans" dari Universal Pictures dalam film terbaik (drama), tetapi "Elvis" dari Warner Bros dan "Top Gun: Maverick" dari Paramount Pictures populer di banyak negara pemilih HFPA.
Di sisi televisi, HFPA menyukai acara mahasiswa baru dan jarang menonton narasi "penobatan" terakhir.
